    so... i have a little pot with some moss, wandering jew, and plants that came with the moss.

    the moss is local moss from my back yard, as is the soil.
    yes, there is this white, cold stuff up here in michigan that blankets the ground, this year has been a light year. normally we would have at least two feet

    I got some new plants including a fern that is doing fairly well, and some hydrocotyle umbellata
    The moss is dieing back because that is what it does during the summer
