Well this is how I've been fishing most of the time:)

Most of these pictures are from different trips.

Load up the car, and head to the gas station early in the morning

Unload the car (little bit of a late start in this one!!)

Fancy shoes? Check..

Foggy!

A little dropshotting

Not bad

Not bad again :)

Little guy

Bye bye

Here is my set up

Padded seat, triple rod holder, there is a camel back I attack to the back of the seat. It is slightly uncomfortable at first, but the bulge from the water forces me to drink while I'm out there to make my seat more comfy :) win win in my mind

Foot controls for the ruder

Ruder zip tied in the up position for transport.

closer look at the rod holder I'll be putting in two more hopefully soon. I like to bring 5-6 set ups with me

This center hatch fits sun screen, snacks, 3 small tackle boxes, about 25-30 bags of plastics, and other misc goodies.

And my newest addition, the roof rack rod holder I made :) It's not mounted in this picture but is a very nice addition. I don't use this one for trips where I need to run inside to the store or anything though.

Nice kayak and fish, they just stocked a couple ponds near me, so that'll have to do until the big guys come back from the carolinas.

Thanks:) It's a lot of fun. I fish from a friends boat every now and then, but being in kayak puts you much more in touch with the water and what's going on around you. It's a very cool experience. Plus when hook up onto a fish, depending on the size, they can take you for a ride!! Biggest fish ever got from this was 6ln large mouth and swung my kayak sideways and drug me out to deeper water when I set the hook!

Sometimes your boat hits a sandbar and your net (loaded with 7k lbs of fish) doesn't....then it rips the mast off the boat and almost kills the captain...fun fun times

Well maybe doing something like getting out on a kayak in some fresh water could restore that for you =-p

That's exactly what you post had me thinking. That looks like some good healthy fun I love kayaks too...mainly spent time in sea kayaks which don't look that different than what you're working with. I'm moving back up to AK this summer too. I may be hitting you up for some tips...northern pike here I come :D
