I went to my chain store this morning...bad idea. They have 2" roselines for $4.54. Having said that I'm wondering if getting a few would be a bad idea. I don't anticipate them getting to 6" within the next year considering my current stock, which is:
8x dwarf rainbows (1-2" long)
2x angels (full adults, about 4" long)
6x various corys
2x clown loaches (3" long, hide 90% of the time)
1x gibby pleco (6" easy)
1x albino bristlenose (3")
The tank itself is a 100g 6' print, has plenty of hiding places, and is filtered by 2 ac 110s with 60% weekly water changes. I'm not worried about bio-load, just space and the angelfish getting picked on. I'm probably going to do a hardscape soon as well to open the tank up more. What do you think? (ignore the blanket...my cat sleeps up there sometimes).
