Ok.... Just another update... Just bought some shrimps. I picked up 3 pepermint shrimp, and a pistol shrimp of some sort. I'm aclimating them currently. Pretty excited about it.. I will probably need help on the ID of the pistol... I was told it was a red banded pistol, but I'm kinda thinking its a tiger. Pics to follow.

Here is the pistol shrimp. Sorry for the not so great phone pics. Also lost one of the pepermints over night... I'm thinking it didn't do well with the transport from pet store to my house. All the other seem to be doing fine!!

Looks like a Tiger. How did you acclimate them? Shrimp can be pretty sensitive I usually drive acclimate for a few hours.

Looks like a tiger to me. Good looking pistol.
SG = 1.024-6; Alkalinity 8.3-9.3 dKH; Calcium 420; Magnesium 1300; Temp = 76 to 80; pH = 7.9-8.3. Alkalinity and calcium are dependent on Mg.
