So I picked this little catfish up almost six months ago and the lfs just had some common name on the tank which I have forgotten already! I'm not normally very keen on catfish but this little guy (or gal) was just too cool to pass up. I would say this must be the full grown size as it's not changed at all in the six months that I've had it. Kind of hard to tell by the pictures but I would guestimate only about 1.5"max you can see a ghost shrimp in the back for comparison.
Except for feeding time he/she is always in the front of the tank under some roots wedged between a rock and the front glass and isn't bothered by anything (dwarf crays and shrimp crawl on it all the time) but when I put a couple special catfish pellets in the tank it goes CRAZY!!!
So what kind of cat do I have?
