I was out for about 25 minutes and boom a big hit and it happened to be a awesome northern pike. Beautiful fish. Measured at 24 and a half inches.

I was going to say is that a pike of some kind, and then I looked and you said it was a Norther Pike. Do you throw them back or eat them?

Pretty cool. I dont have those in my part of nc. I thought they typically got active as it got cooler. We have a lot of longnose gar and pickerel in the rivers in my area but typically the pickerel only get active during the winter and gar get active in the summer. Beautiful fish, hope it was a good fight
