My angelfish like to eat a lot of plants in my tank time and time again, should I be feeding a vegetation food to them? Will that get them to stop- even if it is a little?

My angels will occasionally pick at my plants but rarely do damage to them. I do feed them Omega One veggie flakes several times a week though. They also get a normal flake and will inhale a shrimp pellet. A diet too high is just proteins can cause them to be constipated and a good veggie in their diet will help keep them somewhat flushed out. 
They will also pick at the veggies I put in the tank for the pleco's and otos.
