long story short: I have a female GT and my friend gave me his 3" GT. I dont really want to dish out 30-40$ for an adult male so im hoping its a male and that I'll grow him out and breed them.

I've introduced them together and I dont think i've ever seen aggression from the female towards the guy/gal (she kinda just ignores him/her).

It is really hard to tell at that size and age if they are male or female. Only time will tell. Good looking fish though. The only way that I know to tell the differance between the two is that males have larger poinier dorsal and anal fins than the females.
