Dalmation catfish?

Has anybody heard of a dalmatian catfish? I cant find much solid information, and do not know a scientific name

Hmm...it seems like it may be a variant of pictus, since the synodontus is available seperately. I am going in to see if i can get more information.

My first thought was a pictus, they always resembled dalmations to me, lol. From what I have researched, their are 2 varieties. The Peruvian pictus have fewer large spots on the body with smaller spots on the head. The Colombian variety have more smaller spots on the body and tiny spots on the head. They are very active fish best in groups of at least 3 to really enjoy a more natural behavior of this species.

Didnt catch the last part when i first read your post, but it is definitely the hybrid. Seems to be about 10-12"
