I'm sure there is a chemical solution to every "crisis" they face, they seem to have endless money to play around with and I imagine they've budgeted into their contracts enough money for chemical media, additives etc. for every visit in order to combat the unsustainable stocking levels.

We look at their tanks and think - no way that is going to work! And of course, it wouldn't for us, but I am sure they are relying very little on the natural, biological stability that builds up on a long term healthy, established aquarium and are using other artificial means, which the average person wouldn't be able to afford.

Also, when the fish outgrow the tank or become a problem, I imagine they are removed. For example, a tank with a clown trigger is going to become a disaster...but while it's small, I imagine it will work out all right. They will surely remove it before it becomes the homicidal maniac it is predestined to grow into.

Ah I gotcha. I'm in total agreement with you and pet. They definitely can build a tank lol. As far as fish go well... XD

Those shows are real, not fake. How would they fake a 30 ft long aquarium? They are businesses who buy the tanks, do you think they can afford to cycle a tank for a month or two?

I think someone should call the places and get a video of it.

You can find "Tanked" on their website at Acrylic Tank Manufacturing.

The businesses are real, the on air "drama" is faked through scripts and editing. That's a common practice among "reality" shows. The first couple shows of FTK were actually kind of funny because you could really see when they staging stuff (guys got really nervous and self conscious), you still see it but they're getting more comfortable in front of the camera. It's not really any different from wrestling IMO.

Yeah the business is real, people are actually buying tanks and fish and they are building the tanks but almost every single social interaction you see has been staged and scripted
