I just noticed the eggs Saturday was a week ago, male is in the cave tending.I have the pair in a bare bottom 55 gallon only thing else in there is ( and cant think of what they are called) is two long finned blue eyed albino plecos. I was wondering how long before they come out of the cave and could I put baby oranda with them ?

Goldfish and plecos are not compatible water temperature-wise. Plecos need warmer water than is good for a goldfish. Goldies need to eat more often and will eat the baby plecos.

You should move the male and eggs if you are getting other fish in there. Put them in a separate tank until the babies are big enough that they wont get eaten
