    death in the family

my goniopora couldn't take it any more it started to come apart at the base releasing that beige jell, in two days it went all around it and got hard like a ball spongy looking when I pulled it out it had a foul odor like if it was rotting it stayed blown up and would not retract I guess it's true their not easy at all to keep is better if we leave them in the ocean.

I bought one a year ago, did great for a few months, I tried everything in the book and thought I was doing great. But then I found a worm eating it. The worm turned the same color as the Goni so it was impossible to see... wtf? I ended up removing it and then the Goni never recovered and did the same thing as yours. After that I said no more.
