Would this be to much for a 10g long?

1 Dwarf Gournami
5 neon tetras
5 Glowlight tetras

In short, yes. I would nix one school, bump the other up to 8 or so, and toss in a few kuhli loaches, amano shrimp, or dwarf cories for cleanup.

In a larger tank 2 schools would be doable. In a small tank, not really.

Over stocked==Yes
Over stocked by a lot==no.

I always went by the rule of 1 schooling type of fish per 15 to 20 gals (if you want multi schools).

Anytime I have stocking questions I check www.aqadvisor.com its a pretty good source of info as far as stocking and compatibility.

You could always save money for another tank for glow lights

Then go ahead and get them. I use to have a 20gal when I was young. It really was a community tank. 3 neans, 3 glowlights, 3 black neons, ect. That was how they where sold, by the threes. IMO--it would not look as nice, but it is you tank.
