My female is become the aggresser over the male, shes bigger eats more and deff wears the pants, is this normal? Also how to prevent brown algea

I cannot comment on the Jags, but brown algae is very common in newer tanks. I've had it last up to 6 months or so and then completely go away on its own. It's pretty easy to remove manually for the time being.
