I went to a church fare around the corner from me this morning to come home with a bird cage, my girlfriend and I discussed getting some birds some time ago but thought the cages were a bit expensive..... To cut a long story short, here are Tom and Jerry. Anyone else keep budgies?

Cool birds! My friend has 4 and a big cage. But he also has 4 little siblings who like to open the door freeing them to a 2 story ceiling. So about every month he gets to spend an hour or so catching the birds again.

i really want a bird but havent ever seen a cage that looked big enough to let them fly around. i really want a parrot.

hard to do with windows that you cant reach. But I will pass it on to him if it ever happens later in the day.

These things are noisy but I kind of like the background noise, I haven't given my tank as much attention this weekend but it is nice having more pets in my flat.

I have always thought the same thing. Even the bigger cages dont offer a whole lot of room to let them spread their wings.

Ours have a pretty big cage but after two weeks they will be allowed out everyday from when we finish work etc to exercise.

how do you let them out? i mean wouldnt they poop every where and how would you get them back in the cage? just curious.
