I finally got my 30 gallon breeder tank going! All my fish made the trip and seem to be doing fine so far. The gourami's seem a bit more aggressive, but I assume they are just sorting out which 15gallon is theirs. I also made a python, using actual python parts and some local materials.

I am thinking I might have to start another tank just for my snail though...inside a few days he has striped a few plants bare darn near!

Thanks guys! My first go on plants is got me feeling uncertain...between my snail going Crazy eating stuff and some leaves turning Brown, I am not sure I am doing something right. I dose 15ml of aqueon plant food once a week. Also I have a led light that we looked at the reported lift spectrum and it was inline with photosynthesis(?) ....Idk.

Nice looking tank!

The spectrum of the LED may be right for photosynthesis, but chances are the type/wattage of the bulbs limits it's actual plant growing capabilities, as that is the case with most LED lighting unless specifically purchased/built for plant growing.

You mention the snail eating stuff. Do you mean it's eating your plants? What kind of snail is it?

That's weird. Mystery snails generally don't eat live plants. Are they eating the brown dying parts, or the healthy green parts?

I only have one and it is eating fresh, like subway's commercials. I will post my plant list later tonight so you know what he finds so tasty.
