I know the top on these suck, but it looks like I can remove the top and replace it with a thick piece of Lexan that I can cut to fit and make a nice sized hole in the top for ease of maintenance.
I would make a nice upgrade for my betta"Senor Azul" who has been in a 3g Eclipse since I rescued him 2 1/2 years ago.
Any input would be great as far as experience with them, filter ability, lighting for plants, etc.

I know from research that no tempered glass is used in constructing them, so drilling and cutting are possible.

I.have the 12g version and I like it alot. The lights on them are great for growing plants (algea too tho)
