I love my cats, but I'd be lost w/o my fish
Yes I have furry critters who give me a lot of love and beg for attention. But there is just something about fish and planted tanks that can't be filled by anything else. I like that they are always changing. Sometimes need pruning or whole sale plant trimming and removal, but as I've said before I consider my tanks to be living, ever changing works of art. I get hours and hours of pleasure out of them given the time it actually takes to care for them each week. I definetly come out on the winning end of that process.
