Silicon retaining bands for Corallife light fixture

Morning all,
has anyone found an alt to the silicon retaining bands for this light fixture? They break every time the bulbs are changed and are $6 a four pack online. just wondering if there is something comparable at say Home depot or lowes or somewhere in larger quantity more economical. Thanks !

check local hardware store for silicone o rings.. takeone of yours in to compare

I used to use thin copper wire. The individual strands from a piece of network cable.

I ordered some online at McMaster Carr, my they shipped me a pack of 25 for $6, and they didn't charge any shipping. I ordered the high temp silicone o rings slightly larger than the ones that came with the light. I don't think these will break anytime soon so I am set for quite a while. Try them out they have all kinds and sizes if anyone needs something similar.
