Beautiful air diffuser

Hmm. Interesting device. I did some quick googling (as I'm sure you did too) and am wondering if this diffuser may not have been originally produced for the aquarium trade, but some other purpose. The links I found went mostly to equipment in the hydroponics, water processing, scientific and sewage disposal areas. Also scientific/laboratory equipment....all these fields seem to have need of exceptionally fine-bubble diffusers for one gas or another. And in the video that diffuser looked to be considerably higher-quality than most of the cheap air-bubble stuff used in aquariums.

Hydroponics shops might be the easiest places to check for products packaged for consumer use. The only places I found selling similar items were manufacturers selling in quantities of 500 or more. Good luck...

The "true" micro bubble diffusers require a minimum of 25# air pressure. Fine for a pressurized CO2 system, but not an aquarium air pump.

I have a lees wooden air stone and it makes VERY fine bubbles, I got it from amazon.
