I currently have 5 Jordanella floridae in a 20 gallon long. 2 of them are males. I've noticed that all of them have nipped dorsal fins now, except for the large male and a shy female. I'm sure that I can make it work if I just have a male/female pair. But, I'd rather have a small group of them in there. Would a group of 4-5 females coexist without much aggression?

I just googled them, and everyone says in smaller tanks only one male should be kept. Sometimes a group of females will be ok, but it depends on their personality.

I would only go with 1 male, in my 10 gallon I had two males and 1 got stressed... And died. And now my other male is nice and bright. And he is getting sort of chunky...
