Every one has their preferences, but I would go with one Oscar, not sure how that would work if the texas is big or if territories are estabilished though, I have always raised my fish from very small and never introduced big Fish into a tank that already had big fish. a 125 IMO would support 3 big cichlids if you have good filtration, and they get along. Pairs could get dangerous if someone decides to mate.
There was an oscar in their before but the person who has the tank put a GT in their and the GT killed it thanks thats what I was gonna put in their
