He is 4'' right now and sometimes snaps at my poor mollies and I'm afraid he's going to eat one... Should I sell him to my local Aquarium World and sell him for store credit?

It'll most likely catch and eat one of the fish when it's dark and they're all sleeping. I definitely recommend taking it out and, if you don't want to set up another tank for it, return it.

I agree, sooner or later , it will catch your fish. The only safe solution would be another tank, either yours or your LFS. Good luck.

Yeah, those crays are great, but they love to eat fish. Definitely not suitable for a community tank.
