Can any one tell me is it necessary to use Bag Buddies or oxygen when shipping fish? I have noticed that some people can not find Bag Buddies and quite a few places are not carrying them anymore. Is there another product that I can use instead of Bag Buddies

I have had better success WITHOUT bag buddies than I had with it. I have shipped a few dozen fish (mostly plecos), and I only used BB in the very beginning, but no longer. I no longer use anything as an additive when I ship fish. AS far as oxygen, I unhook one of my sponge filters, put the end into the bag and inflate it. Works fine. Good luck.
