Hi everyone.
Yesterday morning I woke up to two dead Harlequin Rasbora's. I was very surprised because my tank is fully cycled (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 10-20 nitrate, 7.4-7.8 pH), not to mention I have had them for about a month or two. One of them looked strange, it had a darkened almost black head and its mouth was wide open. Does anyone know why they are dying?? Today, another one died and had the same darkish appearance on its face (like I'd imagine frostbite would look). All my other fish are happily swimming around. And I have 4 Halequin's remaining. They are all eating and looking well, but I've had some surprised deaths that I do not know the cause of.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Hmm... Ok, it sounds like it could be ammonia burn. I know that your tank water is fine, but test your tap water, and post the results.
