I would go about 10 neons or cardinals in a 15.

I agree with tanker...a 4-5" centerpiece type fish in a 15g is not ideal.

IMO a long 20 gallon. You'd have more floor space for the fish to move around comfortably. If you could get a bigger tank thats ideal & could add more neons/cardinals.

Yeah I guess I was just trying to do too much with a small tank. I'll keep looking into other options. Thanks for the input folks.
