Honestly it would probably be cheaper to buy a tank that small.

BUT if you could find an old window, pop the frame off, cut the glass and silicone. You could make a 1-15 gallon tank safely that way for the price of silicone and a glass cutter ($8-10)

The hardware store can do it for you. With thin material it really is very easy, like snapping a twig once its scored.

There's only one way to learn! :)

Im pretty sure you can use any thickness acrylic really, the glass on my 5g is VERY thin. building it might be fun :)

Ok! I thought it would be really fun too, that's why I wanted to do it! If I did go with glass though, I suppose that I could get the store to do it... Thanks for your help though! I'll have to talk with my friend who would be helping with the project :)
