Here's what I have:

1 mature angel (5")
3 dwarf gouramis
1 red tail shark
4 long fin danios
6 albino cories
1 clown pelco
1 bn pelco

Tank has been running fine for years, heavily planted, plenty of places for small fish to hide. I just got a school of rummy nose tetras and something is picking them off, eating their tail fins and they die.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

The Gs or red tail...possibly even the angel..

Definitely the prime suspects but they have never bothered the danios and I don't see them harassing the tetras. I even have some guppies in there from when my lfs gave me some by accident and they never bother them.

The rummies are new and have a different tail/fin structure than your current ones...

Any ideas on what to put with the angel, Gs, and redtail? Those are my favs. I'd like a nice school of something. I thought by getting 12 and with a lot of cover they would be fine but there's definitely a problem.

You need a bigger tank first with that red tail...

Redtail or angel is doing it....I would rehome the redtail, who is probably the culprit.
