My question is this biocube was upgraded with the nanotuners CFL conversion to a 3 16inch cfl bulb set up. Will this be to much light? And also what bulbs should I use? 2x 6500k and a Rose CFL or 10k,6.5k,rose bulb combo? Anyone have any experience with this?

I will be purchasing the bulbs from catalina aquariums

It will be a lot of light for a freshwater tank. If you are going to do a freshwater planted tank with CO2 that would be fine. If you are going to do just a regular tank then I would only use one lamp.

Personally I would go with one of each lamp with the rose in the middle.
