Need advice about coco worm

Hi everyone. This is my first time here, and I'm hoping someone can help me . my coco worm has decided not to come out of his tube all of a sudden. I 've had him for about 7-8 months and he's always seemed very happy. His crown is only 1/4 inch down the tube, so l know he's there. I haven't seen anyone picking on him , so I'm kind of stumped. All of my other feather dusters are doing fine. Help!
