55 plexiglass reef under construction.
I have just put in 50+ lbs of LR, and an inch of LS from a friend's tank. I am waiting for it to cycle again after transport before I stock the tank.
As of 12/27/02, three days after adding the rock, my water tested out at:
Ammonia 0.25 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm
PH 8.0
Alkalinity Normal-High
Calcium 450 ppm
according to my red sea at home test kits.
The tank has been running with shrimp, hermits, and 15-20 lbs of rock for over 9 months.

Del Ray 125 wet/dry (no media) as sump
(2) Rio 80 power heads
Berlin Turbo H.O.T. protien Skimmer
Lighting:
96 watt pc Actinic
96 watt pc 10k
Inhabitants:

scarlet legged hermit
blue legged hermit
zebra legged hermit
hitch hikers:
(3) little brown button polyps
several white and red small feather duster like tubes
(3) critters that apear to sessile snails with out shells
sundry LS critters... worms, pods, et all.
Plans...
In the next week or so I plan on ordering 6 each of Nassarius snails and Cerith snails, along with 3-4 astria snails and a second cleaner shrimp.
The paycheck after I hope to pick up an Mithrax crab, an Atlantic Blue Tang, an Anthias, and a Potter's Angel. I am concerned about how large the tang will grow, and I've heard the the Angel my nip corals. Suggestions are always welcome.
In the months that follow I plan on adding shrooms and other low light softies. Again suggestions are welcome.
