I keep an elephant nose & wouldn't recommend putting him in with African cichlids as they could kill him, or red tail sharks, the elephant would need the bottom to himself.

Is it something I can do with caution or keep the elephant first then add cichlids later so he will be bigger then them or you think over all bad idea? Also if you guys all think this is a bad idea anymore cool odd ball fish I could put in a cichlid tank?
