My angel got kicked out of his night time nesting spot by tiger pistol and YWG, he now swims up to the opening and fans it with his fins, kinda like some cichlid fanning eggs. The shrimp will pop off at him and he'll swim away only to repeat a few minutes later. The angel hasn't shown any direct aggression at either the goby or the shrimp when they're out in the open, the shrimp has charged at him though.

What kind of pistol? FWIW, the pistol is blind so he is just responding to where the water movement is. If his is popping off he is litterally shooting in the dark.

Reagrdless, one of them is going to give up and move on. The angel will likely never get a hold of either the pistol or the shrimp as they will just duck into their cave. Typically pistols and gobies will tunnel away from areas that are problematic unless that is the ideal place for them to get food.

I don't think you will have any long term issues. They'll work it out. If the pistol/goby decide to give up and relocate, you may not see them for a few days until they tunnel out a new exit :).
