:help:

I can not get rid of this stuff for anything. I've tried peppermints but they are worthless. What else can I do besides get rid of the rock???

Don't pop the bubbles under water. Take out a rock at a time, if possible, and give it a good hard scrub in RO/DI water. If you do a rock every few days or a rock a week you shouldn't have a problem with a mini cycle

#1 Emerald crab(s), if you are interested in a natural way of reducing. Keep in mind that there are no guarantees that it will eat the bubble algae.
#2 reduce nutrients by skimming or using media reactors and media ie GFO or Phosban, Carbon.
If you do not get down to the initial root of the problem, then it will be hard to remove or control the issue.

^ I did not know there was a chance an emerald crab might not eat bubble algae. I was under the understanding they thought it was a delicacy. huh. Good to know.
