Hello!
A little about me first:
Being an extremely left-brained person, I struggle a lot with creativity, and I found that photography (especially nature-related photography) is a really enjoyable past-time to use some creativity while still being scientific and interesting enough to keep myself occupied. I love (trying) to identify birds and plants in the field and then coming home to do research on said birds and plants.
During the summer before last, I got the best job of my life at a Cub Scout camp. The living conditions (tents for 2 months) and pay weren't optimal, but I pulled together enough money to buy a Nikon D5100 and Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens, and that became the start of something really great for me.

PS: I am not a "like-grabber" (I usually replace grabber with another word starting with W), so this is not to get likes or favorites or any of that mumbo-jumbo. I just really would appreciate some critique so that I can get better at photography.
