So this is what the tile looks like in the new house. it's some weird mexican clay tile. Note how the light reflects off it... it's rounded, and the tiles aren't all level with each other.

How can i compensate for this with a 60g tank? 48x15. I don't really want the stand to sit on it and have the pressure be all wonky. Maybe we could put a layer of foam down first, then plywood, then the stand? I figure that will work, but i'd be more at ease with some agreements and/or a better way of doing it

thanks!

It may depend on how your stand is constructed. Four legs as the sole pressure points like a standard table or is there a frame all the way around in contact with the floor?
