OK, my female discus spawned, but the male just watched! Is there a class I can send him to? Well, the good news is that he now seems more interested in the spawning site. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

The female spawns about every 7 days, and then her and the male eat the eggs immediately. Stupid fish! I guess I'll put them in a tank by themselves and see if they do any better.
Eventually, the light dawns on new parent discus - once they allow the eggs to become hatchlings, then they usually, and quite easily, figure it all out & allow attachment - ah, success !!
