After having been away from aquariums for the last 10 years, I am making the leap again. My last set up was a 125 gal. which I stocked with small mouth bass and a large mouth as well. At the time, I lived in Granite Bay, CA, about a mile from Folsom Lake. I caught my fish on barbless flys in local streams and ponds. I was great fun until I had to move to Idaho.
I am going to start this time with an Oscar, a fish I have always wanted. I will be needing advice however and will post the questions in what I hope is the correct forum.
I am retired, 64 and sadly have a serious heart problem hence I am in sort of a hurry to have the things I have always wanted an to do as many things as I can on a fixed income. However, my oscar with have the best of everything!
