My fluval chi has been set up for over a month. I slowly added plants and shrimp after negligible nitrates. I was planning on endlers, but my husband surprised me with a half moon betta last week
I didn't feed him for two days, and now when I feed him I literally drop pellets in one by one. He's more fond of freeze dried brine shrimp (i actually am thunking of hatching them for him). either way, there is no excess food in the tank really.
With all that said, this morning I can downstairs and he has fuzz just above his anal fin! Do you think its bacterial? Would you salt the tank and do an antibiotic? I don't really have a hospital tank set up since I just have the 5 gallon right now.
Help would be appreciated! My last betta was as healthy as an Ox- I had him for 6 years!
