i have a 125 gal tank that is planted im useing double wide leds im wanting toput discus in it the only problem i can see is the lights from what i understand discus dont like brigth light so how do i keep a plant tank n discus is 8 to 10 hours of light to much for the discus

there is a lot of differing opinions re: discus and planted tanks.

if you are planning on keeping adult discus you should be ok. light isn't really the issue.. structure helps but there are plenty of planted discus tanks.
it is generally not recommended to keep juvenile discus in a planted tank. as they need higher temps and plenty of feedings = high maint as in daily water changes.
