I'm guessing that this is normal?

I have several of differing sizes in a 5 gallon, all from two adults. (I know, I'm setting up a bigger tank.) One of the mid-sized offspring is powder blue. Much more blue than any of the other ones. They're all getting the same food and are in the same tank. What gives?

I'll try to get a picture if it's important.

Yes. I have colors from brown to blue. They all live in the same tank, same food. If you read through many of these threads about marbled crays people talk about why they are blue (their opinion I should say)

In the Aqualog Special about Shrimps, Crayfishes, and Crabs, author Uwe Werner says, "Its basic coloration is brownish, but if it is kept in soft water for a few weeks or so it can change to a beautiful blue!" That has also been my experience as well. I have no opinion on the subject one way or the other... LOL
