    Van's 24 nano build

I actually started June of last year, but landing a new job forced me to extend the build. I had originally thought of a coral only tank, but then my daughter wanted "nemos."

    June 2012
I had rocks with colors that I loved from my previous 100 gallon, and to which I kept in a 55 gallon.
Then I was able to get my hands on a nano for a very low price. It came with a return pump and a nano koralia, unfortunately it didn't come with a light.
So I began the long process of acquiring parts needed for the build.

    October 2012
3 long months later, I finally had time to put the pieces together. I had one blown led, but I was able to swap it out for a red LED from the 10 I had purchased for other projects. It is a 2-1 blue(16) to white(7), with one red(1). I personally like the color, the picture makes it more blue that it actually is. I didn't know how to make the ATS LED with a phone charger, so this little project was put on hold while I did research. Not too many people responded to my posts on other forums.

    January 2012
I finally attempt and created a 2 red LED with a phone charger. I also added 2 clownfish, and 4 coral frags. Although one hasn't opened since I purchased it.

    Anyways, picture time.

Looks pretty good, I'd grab a smaller heater you can put in the back compartment.

Thanks. Was thinking about doing that very thing, but haven't had time to stop by LFS. It's on the todo list.

Going to wait another month or so, then go on another frag binge.
