Thought I'd share a picture of the very awesome wood shrimp we have in a 230 gallon semi planted. There are 4 adults in total and after a couple weeks we found about 10 babies that hide under some of the rock work. I can tell that they are growing...slowly. We clean the tank every Friday and the shrimp love to come out and sit in front of the current to filter debris with their fans. Definitely a very cool shrimp to have if you haven't tried em yet. Check it out. Ill try to grab a few more pics tomorrow of the shrimp.

Very nice! Is that at your workplace? Man, I think I could stand working almost anywhere if there was a 200+ gallon tank to look at during the day.

We added them to a clients aquarium that we clean every week. It's definitely a sweet tank. We were not trying to breed but I know that there is at least one male that is very red and much larger in comparison to the others who must be females. I read some things online and I guess they are very difficult to breed. Providing a suitable habitat must be all they need. The babies are about one inch now. Thanks for the kind words

I have three wood shrimp and five amano shrimp in my 20 long. The wood shrimp are so fun to watch, easily some of my favorite aquatic creatures I've ever kept.
