I have a tank with a HMPK male, with 4 male Endlers, haven't had issues with them in the same tank. I do also have 2 baby kuhlis, but they will be moved soon. But what esle could I put in the tank with them? The other betta I had in the tank somehow died, found his head stuck under something.

I can get cherry Shrimp, but I have to wait till I get a job to order some. What type of neon should I go with? I have a blue background on the tank, but black neons are a little to big. I do weekly water changes on the tank.

Here's a few pics:

Try a few ghost shrimp before you spend money on cherries, to be sure of the betta's temperment, it might get along with the fish in there now but it might rip shrimp apart.

I would definitely recommend testing your betta with ghost shrimp before adding the cherry shrimp. I had a betta that did great with other fish. I bought some cherry shrimp, dumped them in with him, and well, lets just say it was an expensive snack. They were all gone in about half an hour! (and it was a fairly well planted tank too!). It was a 10g nano amano type tank (or that's what I was going for). I'd had other bettas that never paid any attention to shrimp--so I thought it would be safe. Not all bettas are shrimp friendly...

Arent there the green neon tetras and a yellow variety too? They could possibly look good on your background. I never tried addibg fish or shrimp with my betta but i only had him for about 2 months. I always assumed since they were fighting fish that they would rip other fish to pieces
