Yesterday, March 19, i moved my betta from his 2.5gal to my 10gal. Hes loving the move. The reason i moved him is because i noticed that i could see the red of his gills. And i suspect this is due to ammonia in the 2.5gal. I did a 25%-50% water change on the 2.5 every 2 days. The ammonia readings in the 2.5 was 1ppm which is too high so i figured the best this to do for my betta was to move him. Any advice/help on how to get his gills back to normal would be VERY much appreciated as i love this little guy

I recently put him in my ten gal that gets 25%-50% waterchanges twice a week. So hopefully he gets better.

That's the best move for him right there. I do two WC's per week on my 10g too.
