I just assembled a Rena Filstar XP (medium) canister filter and have a slow but steady water leak where the tubing meets the outflow connector piece (see pic).
Is there any way to fix this without taking everything apart and starting over?
Thanks,
Sarah

One potentially easy step you can try is just move the vinyl tubing further up; the water may not make it all the way out. If it's on the return, make sure none of the openings on the return are clogged, creating any kind of feedback. Other than that, part replacement is the only thing I can think of.

Or consider a hose clamp?
That's exactly what I ended up using. I went to Home Depot and bought a pack of hose clamps, re-attached the tubing, and used these clamps to tighten the whole setup.
No more leaks.
The plastic clamps that came with the filter just didn't get the job done.
