I just set up a new 65g Marineland tank with black caulking and the glass has a greenish tint to it. I have an Aqueon 75g tank that is very clear. The 65g is running a UV lamp and I know there is no algae bloom. I view length wise thru the tanks with white paper as a background. It's been like this since day one. Anyone notice their Marineland tank has a tint to it?

I think it is not tinted, just as glass gets thicker there more of a greenish look to it. Starfire glass does not have this tint, but is more expensive.

That is probably it. The 65g is taller and probably requires thicker glass than the 75g. I might need to play with lighting to get the color I want. Right now the tank appears very cool/green with the current LED.
