I have been having trouble keeping my female platies alive, purchased from pet store. My original female platy and two males are over a year old and thriving (even gave birth to a male :angryfire
. Ideally I would love the blue platies, but I would be happy with any females at this point that are older (even newly pregnant is fine). I have a very large female orange and black spotty platy, a yellow platy, a black/white/ and red platy, a white and red platy, and baby white with red tip platy. Color diversity would be nice, but as I stated earlier I am mainly worried about my 3 males to 2 female ratio. Oh and my tank is 55 gallon with live and fake plants, lots of air and two separate filters so please know your fish would be loved and cared for. I am only tired of buying from pet stores and getting attached to my fish to have them die off in a few weeks. :irked:
