Hey I set up a new tank with some plants and this light will it make the plants grow? I know it's more of a reef tank light but I like how it looks. It's a 21" light. The tank is a standard 29 gallon I believe.

The 10000K/actinic mixture is intended for SW...not going to hurt, but might not help much for plants and may look weird since the actinic is heavily focused towards the blue end of the spectrum.
Do you think lights that barely need light would possibly grow? i have it in now and it does look a little strange but not to bad. Its all i have at the moment for that tank though so its going to have to do hah

I'd personally find a different PC bulb. Something that's more "full spectrum".

Generally i suggest not exceed 6500K.
10000K bulb is good for plant but also algae.
I suggest it only expert people.
