I think someone on here may have suggested it but in continuing to think of ways in which I could silence my AquaClear 110 as it sucks up bubbles from the bar beneath it, I came across some images of tanks when I did some Googling around that featured "bulging out" or "curved" intake tube ends that slip over the actual intake tube main part -- this would be exactly what I was looking for, so the bubbles wouldn't come in contact with the filter, but does anyone know what these are called and where I can find them? Also, which ones would specifically fit an AquaClear 110?

Thank you!

Just take an intake tube into Lowes, and find stuff that fits

He likes the bubble maker. I used to like those, too, and then decided I didn't like them enough to deal with the bubbles getting into my filter, or the splashing on my light fixtures.

He could always change the size and location...but if they persist in using the size/placement they have now, nothing will change.

Guys,

There are NO pre-made "curved" or "custom" intake tips for this kind of purpose/application? I thought I had read there was...

Most people either deal with the bubbles in the intake, or remove the source of the bubbles. Anything in between is going to be DIY.
